Production and processing of new varieties of wheat in the province of Huari

    The project aimed to increase the production levels of wheat grain and pasta flour for the production of homemade pasta. This work was carried out with the producers in the four districts of the province of Huari. Part of this production of durum wheat grain was used for homemade pasta production, through the implementation of processing and packaging centers with the committees of the Vaso de Leche (Glass of Milk) Program and mothers’ clubs.

    Objective: To increase the production, productivity, and profitability of the wheat crop in the Ancash Region, in the province of Huari.
