Source of funding:\u00a0<\/strong>PROCOES \u2013 Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation.<\/p>\n

Scope of intervention:<\/strong> District of Tambo and Qarhuapampa Populated Center in Ayacucho.<\/p>\n

Duration:<\/strong> March 2018 – January 2019.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
\nExpected Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Establishment of the management model involving management structure and personnel responsible for the water and sanitation system.<\/li>\n
  2. Develop competencies in municipalities in order to manage the services sustainably.<\/li>\n
  3. Develop competencies in the responsible personnel so they manage the service.<\/li>\n
  4. Develop technical competencies in the responsible personnel so they maintain the service.<\/li>\n
  5. Carry out activities with the users generating payment responsibility for the maintenance and sustainability of the system.<\/li>\n
  6. Carry out activities to relate and coordinate with the local actors for guaranteeing the functioning of the system.<\/li>\n
  7. Carry out sanitation education activities with the users to foster healthcare, water care and water resource preservation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • Municipalities in small cities such as Tambo and Qarhuapampa in Ayacucho constantly manage the water and sanitation service.<\/li>\n
    • Fostering of the water and sanitation management model implemented and established in the municipality.<\/li>\n
    • A trained team of the Municipality Management Unit for managing the service.<\/li>\n
    • A trained team for the operation and management of water and sanitation system.<\/li>\n
    • The population recognizes the commitments with caring and paying for the water and sanitation service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
