img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; style=&#8221;vc_box_border&#8221;][vc_column_text]With an integrated proposal based on strategies such as: strengthening capacities of the teachers, parents associations, and classroom committees; technical assistance; and political advocacy, the project sought to improve the learning skills of children in three schools in the province of Talara, department of Piura.<\/p>\n<p>The project began its activities bearing in mind the diagnosis that pointed to the difficulties children experience in improving their learning skills; and data obtained from the Census Student Assessment were included.\u00a0 It was decided that the following actions were required: to create basic conditions that would enable the children to have an adequate level of physical and emotional health; to strengthen the capacities of the directors, teachers, and parents involved in improving the quality of education services; and to mobilize the education stakeholders to go beyond the school and become agents of change in the community.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>Objective:<\/strong> To help improve the quality of the education service and the conditions conducive to developing children\u2019s knowledge in schools 14901 M\u00e1ximo Heraclio Cornejo Pacora, 14908 La Caleta San Pablo, and 15033 Jos\u00e9 Encinas, in the province of Talara.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source of funding:<\/strong> Savia Per\u00fa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project area:<\/strong> Three schools in the district of La Brea, province of Talara, region of Piura \u2013 Peru.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 2013 \u2013 2015[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;GALLERY&#8221;
