\nInternational Plan entered into a partnership with Prisma to develop jointly a project of food security and nutrition in its project area (Piura) with funding from Dutch Cooperation.<\/p>\n

The project was originally designed to last 5 years, but because of the international financial crisis in 2008, it was reduced to 2.5 years.<\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong>
\nTo improve the food security and nutrition of the children and their families in 30 rural communities of Piura in a period of 2.5 years.<\/p>\n

Source of funding:<\/strong>
\nDutch International Development Cooperation, executed in partnership with International Plan.<\/p>\n

Project area:<\/strong>
\n30 communities in the districts of Cura Mori, La Arena, Castilla, Tambo Grande, Las Lomas, and Miguel Checa in Piura.<\/p>\n
