A civil engineer by profession, he graduated from the National University of Engineering. He has a degree from Northwestern University and has undertaken the Senior Management Program at the University of Piura and the Advanced Financial Management and Organization and Methods Programs at ESAN.

He has more than 29 years\u2019 experience in management positions in important Peruvian companies, and has extensive experience in financial controls, internal controls and technological platform development. He is principal partner at Montezuma & Associates, Consultants.<\/p>\n

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Banco de Comercio, where he held important executive positions: member of the Executive Committee until September 2004, member of the Risk Committee until April 2011 and President of the Corporate Governance Committee until August 2011. In addition, he was also President of the Ethics Committee and a member of the Administrative Council.<\/p>\n

He worked at the Corporaci\u00f3n Backus SA Cervecer\u00edas Peruanas Backus SA, as Gerente de Administraci\u00f3n, Finanzas y Sistemas, at Panamericana Televisi\u00f3n, Grupo REX, Banco Comercial del Per\u00fa y el Banco Continental. He was also a member of the Board of Board of Directors of Quiputada SA, Agua Mineral San Mateo SA, Embotelladora Frontera SA (Pepsicola of the South) and the Bolivian Corporation of Drinks (Pepsicola of Bolivia), Access Seaf Sociedad Administradora de Fondos de Inversi\u00f3n S.A.C y Ex Vicerrector Acad\u00e9mico Administrativo at the Scientific University of the South, among others.<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″]

\nThe Vice President of Prisma\u2019s Board of Directors, Luz Mar\u00eda Helguero Seminario, is a journalist from the University of Piura, with studies in Administration in the same school of studies.<\/p>\n

A Knight Fellow at Stanford University, she conducted her postgraduate studies in democracy, development and corruption, as well as in management and entrepreneurship in journalistic business; she is also in the National Endowment for Democracy from which she developed the \u201cPromoting Democracy through Peruvian Mass Media\u201d project.<\/p>\n

Luz Mar\u00eda Helguero was the director of the El Tiempo Newspaper in Piura, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Civil Transparency Association and a member of the Board or Peru 2021.<\/p>\n

She is director of the \u201cProvincial Journalists Network\u201d, with which she won the Trust Award \u2013 Organization of American States (2006), director or the First Citizen Newspaper of Peru: \u201cGua 3.0\u2033, partner of AVINA, participant of IPYS (Press and Society Institute), member of the Miembro del International Advisory Council of \u201cGlobal Majority\u201d -Monterrey USA, member of the Austin \u2013 Texas USA Forum.<\/p>\n

She is a member of the Regional Proposal, a member of the Society of Newspaper Design and the World Society of Newspapers (FIEJ, French acronym). She is an invited speaker by international bodies in numerous conferences and seminars about journalism and communication media, globalization, and democracy in Austria, Germany, Spain, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia and Peru.<\/p>\n
